| Newton Lodge of Mark Master Masons was delighted to receive W.Bro. Derek Horrocks, PGJD, as the representative of the RW PGM at its installation on the 21st of March. |
| After giving Derek a warm welcome, the WM Bro. Chis Marsden soon got down to the business of the evening, the Installation of W.Bro. Barry Fisher, PPrAGDC. This was the second time for Barry to be Installed in the chair of Adoniram. The first time was in 2006, when he was Installed in the chair of Leigh Mark Lodge. |

| The address to the Master was given by W.Bro. Frank Cooke, PGJD, that to the Wardens by Arthur Robinson, PPrGSW, and the address to the Overseers was given by Malcolm Currie, PGSD. Derek Horrocks PGJD Special Representative gave the address to the brethren. |

| Other members of the lodge who took part in ceremony were, Alan Brown, PPrGStwd, who presented The Key Stone Jewel and Bro. Jeff Burns who gave a faultless explanation of the Working Tools. Jeff was only Advanced in January this year and I am sure will be an asset to the lodge. |
| Downstairs in the dining room after a marvellous feast, Derek, in his response to the toast to The Grand Officers congratulated the WM and all who took part in the ceremony and thanked the brethren for the wonderful evening and the warmth of their hospitality. |
